WHAT DO THESE HALF SHAFTS FIT ????

Hi fellow members, I wondered if any of you gentlemen or ladies would recognise the half shafts shown in the attached pictures, having sold my ruby I have now only my clifton tourer but was given these half shafts about 12 years ago for my austin ruby and as you can see they are not austin 7. So now...

Would the rear hub nuts on a 1929 Clifton be right or left hand thread depending on nearside or offside.

Shock Absorbers

Hi
Does anyone know how I can check the front and rear shock absorbers on my 1929 Clifton Tourer are working correctly. The car drives as if the shocks are not working as they should.
