A12 steering wobble

My clifton has a bad steering wobble over 30mph. Ive found the steering arm rotates in the stub axle by an alarming amount.
I could do with new arm as the pitted corrosion on the shaft is bad and they woodruff keyway is a bit worn.
Has anyone any experience in having these metal sprayed ? Or any other suggested repair?

Ive hopefully attached a photo of my steering arm which i could do with some advice on repairing.
Its an early type at 7" length with the worn part 7/8" x 1.5"

Its a poor fit in the stub axle at the moment and i'm considering using a mig welder to build up a bit of surface as a last resort. Then i have to figure out how to hold it in the lathe to machine it back to size

Ive also contacted some specialist metal spraying workshops and am awaiting replies before trying anything else.
