I'm new to the forum having purchased a 1930 16/6 the later part of last year. I am very keen to find out information regarding the water pump. I had the top hose burst on New Years day due to a blocked rad, but that's another story. Which leads me to the water pump. I took it off the car and disassembled to check its condition. There was some debris in it but not enough to concern me.
The questions I have though are regarding the thrust arrangement. There is a tufnol type disc in the housing which is fairly worn and has misshapen the end of the shaft. Can I get a replacement and is it stuck in or should it just fit sung.
