What is the collective opinion on prop shaft vibration? Do people get them balanced? Is the UJ on its way out?
Our 1924 Clifton has a significant vibration over around 25-30mph which is quite unpleasant at 35-40 and hence a longer distance run. You can feel and here it through the floor, and the whole car rattles; column controls, pedals, clock swings open, etc.
There is little or no improvement if you put the clutch in, so I think safe to rule out the engine balance. Obviously could also be the wheels?
Any advice welcome.
