The spring inside my starter motor broke in the summer so the motor whirred but no action.
I got a new spring from Steve Newton (thank you Steve for the prompt response) over Christmas and had a local garage fit it up for me. Unfortunately it seems to be jammed now and the starter motor won't turn. Before I take the unit back to my local are there any tricks to watch out for when doing this? It looks like a pretty basic piece of kit but clearly something has been missed or wrongly installed by my local chap.
Any advice welcome and much appreciated...
Cheers
Mark

Re: Starter Motor 16/6
Has the starter motor engaged and seized the engine or is it just the starter motor seized?
