I am looking for a pair of rear spring hangers or shackles shown as part numbers AP62 & AP63 in the old list of spare parts book I have from November 1927.
These were missing when I purchased the car as the rear axle had been bolted directly to the chassis with a shortened Propshaft which I am also in the need of.
My car is a 1918 12/4 currently with no body.
If anyone has any of these parts to spare please contact me on 07720 557182.
Thanks.
Rob

Re: Rear Spring Shackles & Propshaft Wanted
I have now got a pair of rear spring shackles thanks again to Tony Smallbone.
I do still need a propshaft.

Re: Rear Spring Shackles & Propshaft Wanted
Well it's two steps forward and one step backwards!
Having now got a pair of rear spring shackles I now find that the leaf springs which were with the car parts are too short and narrow to be for an Austin 12 so I now need to find a pair of serviceable rear springs if anyone has a pair going spare.

Tony Smallbone to the rescue again - he found me a prop shaft and a pair of rear springs. Happy days!
