A12/4 Clifton Auster type Rear Screen

Post by Wightknight »

I am looking for a Auster type rear screen and fittings for a 1927 12/4 Clifton. I know they are like hens teeth but you never know I might get lucky!

No harm in asking I guess!

Where do these sort of parts usually change hands? Ebay, magazines? privately off-line?

You won’t believe it, I got lucky. The rear screen will be arriving later this year!

Ah, shame. Hope you find one.

Have you tried the VAR or Heavy 12/4 Facebook group?

I now have a rear passenger screen fitted thanks to some very kind members. I do need to replace the four springs that support the screen as it is drooping a little bit, any suggestions on where I can get the correct springs?
