Re: Adding Pictures To Your Posts

Wow - finally found a way of resizing my photos on my iPad to post on our forum.
I downloaded a free App called 'Simple Resize' which is really easy to use.
So here is a photo of my car as first found last August

Ash Framework

Would any member have any information which would help in the construction of a new complete ash body frame? Re: Herbert Austin

A good site for Austin history can be found at this address.

The site is run by an Ex-Austin Apprentice John Baker.

Re: Rear Spring Shackles & Propshaft Wanted

Well it's two steps forward and one step backwards!
Having now got a pair of rear spring shackles I now find that the leaf springs which were with the car parts are too short and narrow to be for an Austin 12 so I now need to find a pair of serviceable rear springs if anyone has a pair going spare.

Rear Spring Shackles & Propshaft Wanted

I am looking for a pair of rear spring hangers or shackles shown as part numbers AP62 & AP63 in the old list of spare parts book I have from November 1927. These were missing when I purchased the car as the rear axle had been bolted directly to the chassis with a shortened Propshaft which I am a...
