Smiths or Andre Hartford rear shock absorbers for 1927 Heavy Twelve Clifton wanted (Austin parts AQ15 & AQ16). Any condition considered. Also rear axle 'bumpers' (rubber bump stops) AP89.

Toe-board finish?
What finish can I use on a replacement (ash) toe-board to be authentic for a 1927 Heavy Twelve Clifton? The rest of the floor boards are matt black.
