Magneto restored .

DVLA took a while but we got there

Documents arrived weeks ago. However as I was given them for Christmas (and thus the car) was a great surprise today.

Whoop

My Magneto is not happy. Asking on the off chance someone has a spare (lol) ahead of the long wait for it to be refurbished.

At least the wheels are back. Fuel tank needs welding (or replacing) Magneto is being fettled with too.

Have been to see a fx3 project I am interested in. To my eyes it's solid but needs a lot of attention. The corrosion in the doors is not terrible. Chassis are solid. Some rot to the body sides underneath but only at the edges. Seems to have all the parts and extras. The 'fitted' engine (which smokes...

Well the wheels are off and the engine will now turn

A couple more pictures

Car now at local mechanic he has the plugs out and diesel down. hopefully free off the engine. 3 wheels pumped up and held air. tyres are jiggered but it was a nice positive sign.
